What is Breast Augmentation?
Breast augmentation surgery is the operation that women with small breast sizes apply to enlarge their breasts. Today, it is a surgery that is applied very easily. In breast augmentation surgeries, a prosthesis filled with silicone gel is used, but apart from this technique, breast augmentation surgery can be performed thanks to fat injections.

Before Breast Augmentation

You should stop smoking and alcohol use at least two weeks before surgery. Smoking and alcohol are factors that delay recovery. Apart from this, you should not use drugs with blood-thinning properties. If you have a chronic condition, definitely tell the doctor.
After Breast Augmentation
After surgery, there may be some swelling and pain for a few weeks. Bruising is also conceivable. Scars should lighten with time but not totally vanish.
Wearing a compression bandage or sports bra could be beneficial for further support and alignment of the breast implants while you're recuperating. Additionally, your surgeon might recommend painkillers.
Follow your surgeon's recommendations for when to restart your normal activities. You might be able to go back to work in a few weeks if you don't have a physically demanding job. For at least two weeks, refrain from engaging in any demanding activities that could increase your heart rate or blood pressure. While you're recovering, keep in mind that your breasts will be delicate to abrupt movements or physical contact.
Breast Augmentation Healing Process
You will not feel pain after surgery, but there may be some discomfort. Breasts are wrapped with a special wrap. Drains are placed there to prevent any problems in the places where the prosthesis is placed. The drains are removed after a few days.
You should not eat or drink anything for six hours after surgery. You are usually discharged the day after surgery.

After the first week after recovery, many women feel back to normal, although everyone's experience varies depending on their age, body, health history, and lifestyle. After surgery, rest and ease up for the first two days. Lifting your arms or engaging in any other pointless action will prevent your body from building up the strength that it requires. Take a walk around your house every few hours because it is also healthy for you to get some blood flowing.
You'll likely have some soreness and discomfort near the surgical field for the first three to five days of your recovery. A prescription will be prescribed by your surgeon to treat any little pain that develops during this time. Minor bleeding around the incision site is typical but call your doctor right away if you have any concerns.
Your pain and discomfort will begin to decrease by the fifth day. You can start taking over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen as the one-week mark approaches rather than your prescription painkillers. Some patients begin to feel better by the end of the first week and request their surgeon's approval to resume light activities.
In other weeks and days, you will now be able to slowly begin to return to your normal life. You should still avoid heavy sports, though. If you encounter a problem, be sure to contact your doctor.
